Richard Toll (Principal)




Richard Toll has 15 years experience as a consulting Hydrogeologist and has recently joined GRM from Griffin Coal, located in the Collie Basin in the south western part of Western Australia, where he was responsible for water management.  This included dewatering, mine water disposal and surface water controls.  Richards consulting experience has been with projects in Western Australia, predominantly in the Pilbara and Goldfields Regions, and several sites in eastern and southern Africa.  His experience covers most aspects of mine hydrogeology including water supply, dewatering, hydraulic testing, groundwater aspects of pit wall stability and groundwater modelling.

Richard primary area of specialiality is within the field of borefield monitoring, review, assessment and rehabilitation.  Richard has an in-depth of how to keep a borefield maintained at peak perormance and how to rehabiliate a borefeld that are past their prime.  Downhole surveys, water chemistry and borefield porfrmance assessment are key to this area of exeprtise and Richard has been successfully doing this for the last 15 years.
