| Water balance modelling |

Water balance modelling should be a key component in site wide water management. GRM are experienced in developing models that assist clients in:
• quantifying water usage across a site
• predicting future water supply shortfalls
• predicting future mine water excessess
(for disposal assessments)
• assessing appropriate water use, e.g. segregation of different quality waters and re-use of recycled water streams.
GRM’s preferred water balance modelling tool is the systems modelling package GoldSim, which has been successfully applied at a number of Rio Tinto’s operations. GRM staff include the most experienced GoldSim operators in Australia, who have been responsible for developing models for a range of applications ranging from pre-feasibility studies through to mine closure assessments.
